As some of you know  I launched a new business that helps parents save for college.

The website is Freshman Fund  (http://www.freshmanfund.com/)
It's basically a registry for college savings. Parents come to the site attach their existing 529 plan, create a public profile page and email friends and family a link where they can gift directly into the child's 529 plan instead of giving the usual plastic Barbie Dolls or clothes from the Gap ;o) Here is an example http://www.freshmanfund.com/profile/GraceKeegan058s

The reason I'm spamming you all is we are still a bootstrapped startup with no money for traditional marketing and PR, so we need your help to get the word out. Please sign up and tell all of your friends, especially the pregnant ones. If you have a blog please write a post and link to us. If you are on a website reading about college savings and they allow comments at the end of the article, please add a comment about Freshman Fund with a link. Every link we get pointing back to us and every individual on the site is unbelievably helpful to us.
