FRMAG launched in October. It showcases the GreenerMag interactive publishing platform. We developed it to provide an alternative publishing space for readers, publishers and advertisers. We love magazines but print magazines especially coated stock titles are not only destroying forests for paper, they are difficult to recycle and too often become landfill.
Our ambition is to create the most beautiful interactive magazines in the world on a platform that doesn't compete with print magazines, but becomes a new space for greener publishers and readers.
FirstRide Cars is a FirstRide Green Initiative. Starting in New York, people can order fuel-efficient, flat priced cars on FirstRideCars.com. We have carefully selected the cars and the dealer network to bring a responsible and stylish approach to the car business by making it easier to order safer, cooler, greener cars online.
We are currently expanding FirstRide Interactive to build GreenerMags. A social network for people who read and create magazines. GreenerMags publishers can recruit contributors, get subscribers and attract advertisers who pay for space. We've also decided to deploy GreenerMags as a Facebook application for maximum distribution. Naturally, GreenerMags works inside blogs and other social networks.
GreenerMags is used by people to: Create a magazine, a blog, video magazine, photo essay, travelog, yearbook, portfolio, novel, cookbook, presentation...
We work for the planet, our people and to make profit.
We create interactive spaces to promote greener lifestyle through alternative thinking and creativity. FRMAG, FirstRide Cars and GreenerMags are the first generation of ideas to come out of the FirstRide greenhouse.
